Grades in examination may decide the whole career of student. Error may be occurred in calculating the grade by school authorities. That is why most of schools give the instructions on how to change the grades. After filling in report card Grades cannot be easily changed but clerical error in finding them is authorized to change. There is no system of re examination for increasing them. Some times clerical error may cause in filling of wrong grades Then it may be re checked after completing some formalities

                According to Academic senate regulation 780 processes for correcting the wrong grade is as follows. On the report card if the instructor has filled them it means no further changes can be made .But clerical error can be considered after presenting some proof or after proving the reason of error. If student insist on changing it on the basis of failure of doing well in examination then it will not be considered. There is also no system of revising them except in the case of incomplete grade.

                                Now it is important to discussion how to change grades if error has occurred in filling them by the college or school authority. The office of registrar has the only authority to change the them. For this first of all instructor has to give the appropriate reasons of mistake. He has to describe all the reason of error. For example it may be occurred because of wrong calculation. In that condition instructor also has to tell why and how this has occurred. Then fill the form for changing the grade. Request through the email also can be accepted. So always enquire about the time of issuing the form or confirm about the email address on which application can be sent. Write down the whole description regarding the grade change like subject, present marks, error, expected grade, name of the student, time of the declaration of examination result, class of student. Also give the some information about the prior performance of student in the same subject. Different colleges may follow different instructions for changing them. Sometimes students ask for changing them on the basis of not reading the instruction very carefully. This reason will not be considered. But if the instructions related to assigning the grades become misprinted then it will be regarded as mistake of college.
